  1. Yes, they sell many different types of rodents such as gerbils, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs etc.

  2. yes

  3. Yup, but do your research into the particular hamster you want, because *whispers* big chain stores don't always take very good care of their livestock!!!

    hope i helped

    x

  4. Yes they do

  5. most of the time

    call and ask!

  6. yea. tip ( get a black bear hamster or a panda bear).

i had both, ( the black bear died) and the panda has never bitten. they seem to be the calm ones

  7. No. But they probably "adopt" them out.

  8. yes, they do. i got all my hamsters from petsmart. they have alot of different varieties.

    hope it helps!!

  9. I would say stay away from a Petsmart if you want a hamster.  It's probably better to get one from a local pet store.  Usually, they will spend more time handling and taking care of them than a Petsmart will.  I actually went to buy one at a Petsmart, and the employee dropped the hamster and put it right back in the cage.  Not good!

  10. Yes several types

  11. yes, most do

  12. yes of course but i think you shoyld go to petco they usually have goldane hamsters and teddy bears it's cooler than petsmart

  13. Yes I believe that they do. Um If you go to http://www.petsmart.com/petsmart/(zip code) then it will give you the phone number closest to you and you can call and ask. If they for some reason do not, I suggest going to Pet Land. They have a wide variety of hamsters to choose from. I hope you can find a hamster that suits you perfectly.

  14. Yes.

  15. call and ask WOW people are so lazy these days

  16. Yes, several types but if you want a hamster, please don't get one from them. The company they get them from is very cruel and careless about their rodents, as they can be too, ( http://www.petsmartcruelty.com/ ) and it would be much kinder to adopt one from your local shelter. If you need help finding a hamster from a shelter, you can go to http://www.petfinder.com/ and you should have no trouble finding one.

  17. Sometimes, I have seen hamsters these as well as other pocket pets.

  18. Yes may I suggest a plastic or wire habitrail cage they have better venting easier to clean and you can extend the cages with tubes a few at atime and more fun to watch

  19. Yes.

I would stay away from petsmart or petco, and just buy from local petstores. Local breeders breed for quality, unlike the national breeders that breed for quantity.

  20. Everyone I have ever been to has sold hamsters.  On their web site is a store locator, http://stores.petsmart.com/petsmart/  you type in your zip code, and it should provide a phone number and address.  Call them and ask, they may even have multiple breeds.
