Do they sell muzzles for parakeets.......?

Everytime i try to put the little sweaters i knit for my parakeet on her she bites me....and its starting to make me mad......

So if she bites you when you put her sweater on...........How do you plan to put the muzzle on without getting bite?

Stop putting a sweater on your bird and no they dont sell muzzles for parakeets that is horrible. they are so tiny. Us humans took them out of their natural habitat and now we are trying to make them human. It is their natural instincts to want to bite when you are putting a foreign object around him tightly

those bites don't hurt, try being bit by a bigger bird and they draw blood

Then again Johnny does have a point and it would probably be a good nugget to eat.

What an unappreciative parakeet you have!!  I would knit one just a bit smaller next time and then the thing will appreciate the next one that actually fits!

What color are they? Parakeets are picky birds, they would prefer a sweater in a shade of violet.

Of course they do!  As everyone knows parakeets have a reputation of being avid hunters, fearless fighters and vengeful biters.  Perhaps your knitting sux and you bird is angry with you! Understandable. Besides it is a known fact that keets like suede jackets, not knitted sweaters.  So again you get a nip!  As far as the muzzle is concerned, do you have a license to own a parakeet?  Being the fearful beasts that they are, you need one in order to purchase a keet muzzle at your local police precinct. Why don't you go in and ask for a license? Insist on a chain link muzzle. Nothing else will stop them!.  Or take some kniting lessons so your bird is not so disturbed!
