yes they do....they have beautiful jewellery there.

edit: ElronCupboard is really, really wrong.  i've been to India 5 times & bought jewellery each trip - the jewellers there sell excellent gold & diamonds & they tell you exactly what you are getting....they do not lie about their jewellery...i promise you!

yes - especially in touristy areas like calangute.  however, it is not the cheapest and best quality as goa isnt really known for jewellery.

Don't buy any sort of jewellery there.  They'd try to sell you a piece of glass as a diamond They might show you something and then swap it.

Same goes for 'gold'.  

If you buy in the UK at least you have some comeback if there's any doubt about the quality of the stuff you've bought.

not known for jewellery   ha ha, there are more jewellery shops then tourists, my wife has bought rings and stuff there but be carefull you can be ripped of, go somewhere someone recomends
