i just love sugar cane and i want some seeds

  1. Call your state Agriculture and Forestry Department....they may be able to direct you to a farmer or someone that can help ya.


  2. Sugar cane is propagated by planting sections of the stem.  Texas grows a lot of sugar cane so you can probably find cane sections in your supermarket.  Plant a section horizontally in a couple of inches of soil, keep it watered, and several shoots will probably grow.  

  3. Sugar cane is a grass type plant.  They are like bamboo. I know of no location that would have seeds as you plant the stalk.  You might want to check around several stores that might have or sell cane.  Cut off a few nodules and plant them in the ground horizintal. Then see what happens.
