Like as volunteer work? I would like to do that. I'm 14 years old and was wondering if I could just go into a hospital and volunteer my time to just be company for elderly sick people or even little kids. Thanks.

  1. I work at a childrens hospital and we do accept high school age volunteers in the summer.  I don't know how much you would get to hang out with the kids but there are a wide variety of ways you can help out.

  2. do  they i want to do that?

  3. in some they do

  4. Normally yes, but it depends on the specific rules of the hospital and how sick the patient is. Usually they allow people in above a certain age, 13 or 14 is common.
