I havent seen a car with roll up windows in a long time. It seems like even the cheapest of cars now all have power windows. Do they still make cars with roll up windows?

and also, I remember back in the 80s they used to have cars with a radio where you would have slide it out and take it with you so no one steals it. Then when you go back to your car, you slide the radio back. What was that about? How were those made? Do they make cars like that anymore? and could you listen to that radio that could be pulled out of the car and listen to it outside of the car, or does it only work when its in the car?

  1. yes they do but there are very few car makers still offering them. they are now mostly found on Japanese vehicles but eventually roll up windows are becoming a thing of the past. idk about the radio thing i didn't make it into the world until 1992.

  2. Roll up windows are available. "Shuttle" decks slid in to a sleeve mounted in the vehicle. They did not work unless they were plugged in to a sleeve.

  3. Nope...

  4. Some lightweight sports cars/track cars might still have manual windows to save weight

  5. Yes, they do, on Lite models of Proton Edar. The models are: Proton Saga BLM Lite Line, Savvy Lite and Satria Neo Lite.
