Do they still print $500 dollar bills?

A long time ago, I seem to remember seeing one that my dad had when he bought something. But I was very young and I might be mistaken.

    Theyre probably not in circulation and not used as common currency maybe more as collectibles...

    I think they have a $1000 one too?


  2. No no no..., they halted the production of high denomination dollar bills back in 1969.

  3. Production of the large bills ($500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000) was stopped around 1946, the Govt stopped their use altogether in 1969.

    The Largest denomination printed today is the $100 bill........mule
