  1. I remember they used to sell a cigarette and a match for about 10 pence. Think it's illegal to sell them separately now.

  2. I know where to get loosey's of menthols, but they're really not marketed to a lot of people. They're ~$0.50  where I'm from.

  3. Some off-licence/newsagents still do that but they are more like 25 or 30p now.

  4. You can still buy singles in most Latin American countries. brands are either marlboro, or locals brands. they usually end up costing you around 4 cents USD. *exempt of tax, yo*

  5. i used to buy them 10p each at the local shop

but i did used to sell them 50p each to the other kids i was in school with

  6. LOL I used to buy the for 12p (1992 ish)

I dont think you could get away with selling singles now lol

  7. I cant remember them ever doing that, people used to do it at school

  8. Some states still do, but most do not. Here is a link to an article of one state just recently passing a law banning the selling of them.

  9. They used to do that in the shops near my sisters school. I think theyd be hung if they tried it now! They never did it at our tuck shop though, it was a grammar school and I think they thought that clever kids wouldnt smoke. ha ha they never spotted us under the willow tree though did they!

  10. I don't think so... you can buy the prime times and colts singular though.. their kinda like cigs.. I think the least you can buy is a 10 or 20 pack.. not even sure about the 10 pack..

  11. They don't do it anymore.

It's the governments way of getting more money.

You want a f*g - you need to buy either 10 or 20, obviously costing more. They're trying to do away with 10 decks now too.

And the way the world is going with the smoking ban ( Which, ironically I love, despite being a smoker. ) it probably won't be long before cigarettes are under the counter of shops rather on display. They're talking of this right now. Before long they'll be trying to get rid of it completely. That's the way it's heading. But at the same time I doubt they would because of the amount of money the government gets from it.

To be honest, a single cigarette seems daft. I buy one and it'd be like 10 minutes before I needed another :P

    Handy if you're skint though!

  12. We called them loosies and they were abut 10 p , don'd think they are legal anymore , 10 packs are banned here now ( Ireland )

  13. my local newsagennt sells individual hamlet cigars, for 75 p, byt dont no of anywhere that sells individual ciggies.
