Do things shift and change as you get older?

I am now in my late 30s and I am a lot different now from my 20s.

When I was younger I loved to talk on the phone, go out a lot and socialize. I am married no children.

Now I don't really like to call the time people although I e-mail and send letters. I would rather for the most part cook and grill from home where I used to love to go out to eat and as for socializing I like to be around people.

But since I moved 3000 miles away from where I used to live I am starting all over again making friends I have a great church family which I am grateful but I don't always go out as often as I used to in my younger years.

My questions are why do things seem to change more when you are in your 30s than in your 20s? Is it normal for things to shift and change as you get older?

The things that used to excite me in my 20s are not as important. I focus now on keeping a nice home, making good meals, working hard, focusing on God.

What is your take on this?
