Do think a turtle is the pet for me?

i need a pet that is not expensive so thought of a turtle and my mom say sure but do think this is better than any other non expensive animals out there i cant have a spider a snake a rotent or anything most people dont have as pets and no matter what not a fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( i have a big fear of fish)

turtles really take a lot more care to keep healthy than most kids give them

they can get very sick before they show signs of being sick

pet store turtles are also notorious for harboring salmonilla

If you are going for a reptile, please learn a lot before  you get one

Maybe you could volunteer walking dogs at an animal shelter or caring for cats at a cattery on a regular basis if you have an urge to care for pets

or consider a house rabbit

If you have just one rabbit they won't p**p anywhere but the litterbox if you train them and then you only have to worry about covering cords to chew

they aren't any more trouble than a cat and they are less expensive and their litterbox doesn't stink as bad

Sure you could have a turtle easy to take care of and make sure to clean the cage alot

lol you don't like fish? (oh well) Ummm ya...turtles is a great pet! You should buy one! They are much better than any other non expensive pets!
