Do think it's disloyal, for Republicans to disown Cheney and Bush and not let them attend the convention ?

His recorded video appearance is not quite the same thing...as being there in person. This would be the first time in history a sitting president and vp didn't attend their own parties convention, would it not ?

The whole RNC the way it is being organized, seems kinda phony to me.

They spent most of the convention defending Palin's various "gates"....Everything is negative, everything thing they claim is truth is being distorted. The talking heads posing as journalists, basically repeat each speaker's talking points. Talking points which up to this point seem very minimalist and nonspecific. A great place to grab soundbites however, but lacking substance.

That's why Bush should be there...he's a great speaker.

Do you agree ?

  1. Bush is in Washington were he is supposed to be, unlike Obama who has been a senator for 4 yrs and campaigning for president for 2 of them.

  2. No it is not like they said it is country FIRST party after and the country doesn't like them therefor neither do we....

  3. Lyndon Johnson refused to attend his party's convention in '68. Bush had other priorities ... you know Gustav.  Had he attended, you'd be the first to write your question/rants excoriating his insensitive decision
