  1. i think it's a little bit of both , being over weight is an epidemic in the usa i think fast food places should be way healtheir than they are now, BUT its ones choice to get junk food , and fast foods all the time.

  2. The fact they choose to eat it or maybe some people really like big macs

  3. welll both!

one because this is one way that people are becoming obese! soo fast food places should serve more healthy foods

and two......people noe wat theses kinds of food do to your body yet they keep eating it!

    you get me?!

  4. The fact that they choose to eat and the fact that fast foods place  makes it look so irresistable that some people don't have much self control and they eat it. I on the other hand try to eat the more healthy foods if I go there. Look at the calorie count just one time and you will change your mind on eating it.

  5. oh its the choice. and that the fact that it tastes so yummy.....its convenient and fast and something to grab on the way home from work cause your hungry. with the right amount of vitamins, fiber, vegetables and a good and balanced diet along with exercise you should be fine in eating fast food a few times a month. i think im going to order pizza now......

  6. You have to look at both sides. The person eating there, isn't usually concerned with how healthy the food is, just that they are getting something quick, cheap, and tasty. The restaurant doesn't care if the people eating there get fat, they only care that they buy cheap and sell cheaper, keep customers coming back for more, and maintain the appeal of a quick service restaurant. I would think the majority of people who eat fast food are usually on the go and are too busy to actually sit down and eat a home cooked meal (which is much healthier than fast food).  If these fast food joints served actual healthy food in the same type of setup, people would continue to eat there. Subway and Quizno's do just fine, I'd say their only downside would be that people have to get out of their cars to order. I have seen a few Subways that had drive thru's though and those businesses did quite well.  But until that happens, it comes down to choice in the end. You can choose to eat a double cheeseburger with fries and a coke or a grilled chicken sandwich with an Ice Tea or water. But keep in mind, if the people who owned the restaurants looked at things morally/ethically speaking, they'd go out of business right away. Who could possibly own a business where the majority of products sold are harmful and potentially fatal to people, but are marketed in such a way that they are so delightfully appealing and convenient that customers continue to buy these products?

  7. I'm not overweight but I often don't have a choice where to go for food - when I'm out and about running errands/meetings etc I don't have time to have a sit-down meal and its often the junk food thats so conveniently packaged so you can eat and run... I've always wanted to get the healthier things on the menu (like vegies/rice etc) but you can't eat that on the run.

Also it depends whats on offer where-ever I am at the time.. I don't often have a chance to go out of my way for lunch so I find something quick and easy and go for it..
