Or are his claims not disputed ?

I just hope to find some proof that this genius was wrong sometimes. Do all clever people deny god in all philosophies?Isn't there a place of the unknown forces in the thoughts of the most intelligent people ?

  1. No one knows if any of the philosophies that exist today are correct or not....and i'm not saying any of them are right or wrong

but they sure give us something to think about, don't they?

  2. There isn't much to what he said that is an undeniable fact, so yes, there is more than a slight chance that Nietzsche's theories and philosophy may contain mistakes.

  3. He was human and subject to error, as in all humans.

  4. The reason that Nietzsche is despised is because he demonstrated that divine command moral theories are absurd.

He also took it very hard that this was the case.

It is fine to believe in god, but unless you can show that the god approves of a particular religion and the morality of that religion is gods morality then it is foolish to expect a rational person to believe what you say.

  5. Well the man stank just as bad as you and I when he left the toilet. That makes him just as human as you and I. So of course his theories and philosophies will have mistakes in them. Personally I think his theories and philosophies are riddled with mistakes.

He just isn't perfect enough to be able to clearly spell out things in this world with out errors.

  6. I second ɮɸʁəᶑ

Your question reminds me of this quote, by the way:

"It would be too horrible if Nietzsche were right. Therefore Nietzsche must be wrong."

    [Richard Schacht.]

  7. I once looked into a book by Nietzsche in which he stated that order comes out of chaos. From the Zen Buddhist point of view chaos and order arise mutually, not one from the other.

  8. what kinda human can prove or deny the existence of god??? for dog's sake wake up!!!

  9. Check out St Thomas Aquinas. (Proofs of God). His teachings are still taught  to Priests today.

  10. he is not as popular as you think. many disagree with his philosophy. in fact, you don't have to go very far to find lots of opponents like the church.

not all clever deny god. a portion of genius believe in some form of god. take einstein for example.

there are more unknowns then known. even the most intelligent people don't know everything.

  11. When religion is examined with a reasonable, critical mind, it fails miserably. That is why most critical thinkers reject the concept of the Godhead. As for unknown forces, Nietzsche didn't have much to say about them since his philosophy was primarily deterministic. Unknown forces in modern philosophy is dealt with extensively in Emergent Theory.
