  1. Banks are nothing more than central locations to store wealth instead of carrying it around with you. Everybody has a bank. Even if its a big safe that actually holds your physical deposits.


  2. Yes, there are banks in nearly every country in the world, including economically devastated countries like Uganda, Ethiopia & Peru.

    The term "third world" was coined during the Cold War to refer to the countries that were not aligned with the US & its allies (1st world) or Russia & it's allies (2nd world),  and technically encompasses many countries, such as Brazil, that are quite successsful. And there are many, many banks in Brazil.

  3. what do you mean? I live in Iran and there are lots of banks here, even in our villages!
