The Brand Power commercials are annoying to me in the sense that that try to pass themselves off as being "public service commercials."

I believe they are a marketing ploy designed to reach the viewer while their guard is down. They are clearly just commercials wrapped in a slightly different package.

They are annoying; fake and unconvincing.



Also annoying is the encroachment of foreign advertsments which are badly dubbed. Why can't they be filmed here instead of giving the work to overseas agencies and actors?

Most annoying of the lot, and the one that guarantees me reaching for the remote, is the Cillit Bang adverts with that loudmouth shouter bloke and increadibly fake "housewives".
