Question:

Do those bug/rodent repellants really work?

You know, the kind you plug into the wall thats supposed to drive bugs and mice away.

  1. Yes! Mine is fantastic! I had silverfish in my kitchen and bathroom and they have disappeared - flies come in if i have the door open but fly straight back out again and i used to get the odd moth or cranefly at night - but not any more!

    Downside is no spiders either but then there's nothing to eat : ), it takes about 2 weeks for the bugs to disappear

    and it seems to lose it's effectiveness after a couple of months but i just turn it off for a week or so then back on again. Also they say the high setting is not good for small dogs.

    I think mines fab!


  2. Hmm, I've never heard of this. Does it transmit a certain frequency that repels them or something? The best remedy for rodents is a hungry cat. I don't know about bugs though.
