  1. pretty much...  i wear my hair very similar to the avatar and have simliar facial features.

  2. I don't have straight hair and I don't look like a cat but other than that it's close.

  3. I think my avatar does look a lot like me. =)

  4. Pretty much.  But they don't let you age your avatar.  I'm 42.

  5. No, not really. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, and none of the faces I found had the right ethnic/racial look, especially not the older ones. Figured it didn't really matter anyway.

  6. Well, I couldn't find the cheetos prop for my avatar, and this is about as fat as I can make my avatar...

The real problem is my inability to find more facial hair options.  :)>  (smiley face with goatee)...

  7. My daughter does my avatar. It's a resemblance....hair color, eye color. Depends on how I'm wearing my hair when she changes it, which is quite often.

  8. i tried as much as a i could to make my avatar look like me.  I wish i could put some pounds on it though. I am a curvy girly.

  9. Yep I do... Of course I live on a ranch though too.  Been raised in Texas all my life.

  10. I actually do to a degree. No mohawk anymore, just black and shaggy now but other than that it is a reasonable likeness. My avatar is by far the hotter of us two LOL!

Funny question btw, I never really thought about it before.

    *** edit

Just want to show off one of my wilder hairstyles, it was right before I started radiation and wasn't sure if I would need chemo so I shaved it off rather than have to watch it fall out. The beginning of the end, now I love to shave it once every few years for a change.

    ***edit 2

HOLY COW! peaness that is the closest avatar i have ever seen! crazy!

  11. yup..this is me

  12. Yes I do, it's quite a good likeness although my eyes are a little greener

  13. Not even close. Completely opposite.

How are you able to post your pictures? I'll post mine if you can tell me how.

  14. Right now I have long brown hair, but no hat, no glasses.

    what about you? :)

  15. Oh! Thanks for this question! I've been wondering the same thing and being annoyed by Y! avatars pretty often. My biggest beef is that they all seem to be in their early twenties. I myself am about twice that age. I don't look 43 to most people, but a heck of a lot closer to that than I look to 22. What is up with assuming we all want to be perceived as 22? I get that the 11-15 year olds on here might want to be, but I know I'm not the only "grownup" on here, and I assume not the only one who doesn't want to pretend to be 20. And also the weight thing that so many have mentioned. Why do they assume we all want to be young and skinny? Can't any of us be happy as we are?

Okay, Okay! To answer the question:

Not too much. Besides the age thing,  I do have very fair skin, but on the real me it is much, much redder much of the time. My hair is asymetrical in real life, and none of the hairstyles looked a bit like it, so I went with my teen hairstyle, which is rather dull. Except for the asymetrical hair, which I have had in some form for over half my life now, I'm rather bland and blonde looking, so I wish I could have an asymetrical avatar also.

I do have green eyes (but not as big as my avatar), and the hair color is in the ballpark.

In real life I am animated, not like a cartoon, but as in my face is constantly moving around. Almost all pictures of me look completely goofy, because they stop the action at some strange point. But I've been assured I look normal when not being photographed.

The books filling the background is just right, except there'd be piles of books all over also.

  16. Of course, I'm the living double of my avatar, lol!

The one I used to have had my features as close as I could get them: dark hair, green eyes, glasses, but it still didn't look anything like me!

And I agree with Andraya, my avatar is definitely hotter than the real thing  :=)

  17. Mine is as as close as I could get but honestly I'd be pretty happy if I looked as good as my avatar.

  18. I guess if I was a cartoon. I do have short blonde hair and green eyes

  19. Pretty much, only I'm older than the avatar would have one believe.  Hair color and style are right.  I'm very fair skinned with blue eyes.  Much to my dismay, I'm also "plumper" than the avatar.

  20. My avatar looks shadowy to me!  I have it that way because I am a total techno dummy and don't know how to change it.

Fair skin, blue eyes, heart-shaped face, 5 pounds overweight, over 40, and a whopping 5 feet tall!

  21. This is what i looked like a while back.  But ten years and two childbirths have changed it some.

  22. I did until day before yesterday when I had my hair done. My hairdresser decided to change my hair color. Probably should change my avatar now.  LOL

Hey Andraya~quite beautiful AND witty, too!

  23. I think mine does look a lot like me... just a bit slimmer, though I'm working on it.  ;o)

The pink robe and bunny slippers that you can't see in the face shot are a lot like what I'm usually wearing, as a SAHM.  ;o)

  24. How do you create an avatar? Can somebody email me how?

Edit - Okay, I made mine. Here is a photo of me and my son. Did I do a good job?

  25. No...Dont believe that.

  26. I picked the one that most resembles me..as much as a cartoon can represent me, lol...

But I realize a lot of these people do not look like their avatars as most of them are minors or fat men eating cheetos, lol.

Yes - I love the short black hair on you!
