Contrary to popular belief, We did not get a packet of *INSTANT HOLY* and a bottle of * INSTANT GOD`S KNOWLEDGE* the second we decided to follow God.  

You don`t become a brain surgeon, or a  race car driver, or a Chef by reading one book. It takes time and study and research.

We are not perfect. We will never be perfect. God doesn`t require perfection. He never asked for us to be perfect.

The ONLY perfect Human was Jesus.  And even he had a temper. Remember the money changers and the fit he threw..The rest of us are s***w ups. But Dad loves us anyway..

So why would you expect us mere motral, natural humans, to be above human emotions and faults. We are after all just humans..JUST like you.  No one is perfect.. Ain`t gonna happen..

the bibe says be slow to anger but rather than vengeance, give way to wrath. for  in the bible God Says "Vengeance shall be mine and i will repay saith the Lord".

it also teaches that lot, a righteous man was vex with the wicked... a good thing.

yes i agree. very well phrased. IMO spirituality lends humility, whereas organised religion, while working ok for some, tends to set up a polarized "us and them" mentality, giving the religious adherents a sense of superiority. it's the same problem the pharisees had really. when i was strictly religious i was quite judgemental towards outsiders too, now i consider myself spiritual but not religious and i've found that i'm a lot more accepting now i no longer feel the need to classify people into Christians and non-Christians :)

If religious people followed these supposed words of god then we would have mayhem,okay to rape a woman instead of a man,stoning,mutilations etc,they cherry pick what they believe and listen to all the other c**p made up along the way,ie: Mormons,JW and scientologists to name a few modern man made religions.

They d**n themselves through ignorance more than anything I guess.

The words of christ are supposed to be of one of compassion and peace,don't ever see much of that going on to be honest...
