I am skeptical as to how this part is actually going to provide better fuel economy. But if it works I am down to give it a shot.

  1. i got one on my truck and it seems to be working good, i think it might have helped with gas mileage also,in town i don't notice much of a difference but on the highway i think i gained a mile or two on gas mileage, maybe not but it seems to run smoother on the highway,I'm going to remove mine for a week or so and see if it actually is helping it or if it just seems like it is,since i drive about the same distance all the time i will be able to tell this in about a week, good luck

  2. I got a cold air intake for my dodge and it came with a throttle body spacer.  I was talking to a Mechanic friend of mine about my intake and he told me that they don't do anything.  How dose a piece of metal supposed to help with fuel economy.   So from what I hear is a bunch of B.S.

  3. The idea is that they give the air and fuel more time to atomize in the turbulence created by the spacer and that is what gives you the better fuel economy...i however do not have any empirical data to back this up.
