Do totally different contributors have the same/similar name on YA?

Either I am way confused as I have "responded " to a few contributors who haven't a clue ,or that is no ordinary beer we've been drinking

Yes. There is a user calling himself  Michael W . when my user name is michael w The only difference is the capitol letters. I can see how confusing it can get to other users. I have complained to yahoo but they do not seem concerned.
