  1. yes they do becuz its keep the trian from crush

  2. Sure, meetings are every other Wednesday at 8 PM.

  3. yeah, they get together for brunch.

  4. Tracks can cross each other (in railroad terms, that's called a diamond), a single track can split into two tracks at a switch, which is a side track for trains to go into to let others pass either in the same or opposite direction. Then there are Double Track Main's, which two tracks run parallel to each other and every so often a crossover switch is placed so that trains can cross from one main to the other. Theres a lot more, but I don't feel like getting into it all.

  5. No, by definition, they are parallel and parallel lines never cross. Physically, it is impossible. However, an optical illususion exists. If you stand and look down train tracks, they appear to meet at a point in the distance. This happens only because your eye lacks the definition of detail at far distance, so the rails appear to meet at a point. In the art world, this is called perspective. The distance between the rails stays the same, but at increasing distances from your eye, appear to get closer together because of the rods and cones in your eye. Eventually the apparent distance between is so small it disappears between the rods and cones and you can no longer differentiate the space between the rails even though it exists. It has a name, resolution, the same as is used to define the resolution on a monitor screen by using the number of dots per inch which can be displayed. Somewhere in Iowa, there is a long straight train track exactly oriented in such a manner that on the equinox, the sun rises and sets exactly between the rails and the sunlight causes a flash along the rails as it rises and later when it sets. I saw this on CBS News Sunday Morning one day a while back. The people in this small town have a parade and stand on the tracks as the sun rises and sets just to see the flash from the shiny rails for that perfect instant in time when everything lines up perfectly. Come to think of it, you used the word tracks, and tracks are a pair of rails, so yes, tracks can cross and meet at a switch, but one rail of the pair which make a track will not cross the other rail of the same track.
