Do trampolines need breaking in?

I'm getting a trampoline and don't know.

    we have one and it is a little stiff when you first try it, but then it's fine.


  2. Somewhat: you can bounce as high and as hard as you want from the first day you are on your trampoline. However new springs can sometimes be stiff at first. Also expensive woven competition and high performance beds can be a little tight and give a stiff bounce at first. The black poly beds that are on most home trampolines do not tend to be stiff at the beginning. Their bounce is about the same right from the beginning. So although you do not have to curtail your bounce or workout when your trampoline is brand new, some trampolines will have a somewhat stiff bounce for the first few weeks.
