Do travel agents give you a better deal on your trip?

you can probably find any deal that your travel agent can....however, how much time are you willing to spend surfing the internet to find it.  Also, GOOD travel agents are familar with the area that you are traveling to and will be able to give you some hints....

However, there are not a lot of GOOD travel agents around anymore as airlines, hotels, auto rental agencies have all cut the commission that they are willing to pay to a travel agent.

yes they do. it's better to get a trip thru travel agents.
