  1. Hey don't take it to hard on poor 'ole Smokey. Besides it's not

his fault that the trees take one look at him and decide to end their lives. Just the smell and that's enough, but hey let's not get of subject here! Trees do cause forest fires sometimes. Especially those with a hate for other trees like those terrorizing scum that hang out with C4 hanging from their limbs. When their hour arrives,.... BANG and it's all over. Not only for their worthless embers but also for others. With all the sap spilled it might even make you go crazy. People should make a tree suicide prevention hot-line.(Oh, and don't put Smokey on the other end.)

  2. Of course they do. no trees=no forest fires. In the nearest city to me there has not been a forest fire in over 150 years, meanwhile only 30 miles away in the Hira forest there was a forest fire 5 years ago.

  3. no, fires does, and lightening

  4. technically no but hey 1)need very dry conditions and lots of fuel wood 2) need an ignition source 3)all these with the trees ya instant forest fire.T change the fire add house or grass instead of forest and that is the cause of the fire

  5. no. dry weather, lightning, and fires cause forest fires.

  6. How would trees CAUSE forest fires?  I'm sure you know this, but you need three things for a fire to burn: oxygen, fuel and a heat source.  Trees DO provide fuel for a fire, but only after it's been burning for a while.  A fire needs kindling to start, and in the forest the dry brush around the base of trees functions as kindling.  I think it would be safest to say that, whatever the heat source, it is most responsible (though not fully by any means) for causing forest fires.

Really, though, it's people PREVENTING forest fires that makes them so devastating when they DO happen. Fires in the woods are perfectly normal and they clear out dry brush at the base of trees.  Some species even need fire for seeds to germinate.  When people prevent fires for a long time, lots of brush build up, making it possible for fires to burn long enough to damage live trees.

  7. When trees dry out the sun can cause them to ignite and start a forest fire.

  8. A fire needs oxygen, heat and fuel to survive,

  9. i think its probably more to do with the gluseninie tobactonoal thats found in trees, its what is highly combustible in wood and when trees is lacking water, especially after times when the air quality has been poor (levels 3-5) and there is heavy amounts of carbon dioxide, it actually fertiliez with the gluseninie tobactonoal and mates what we call the gleeson tactol, and when exposed to any fireous condition, makes for a very dangerous situation.

  10. NO

  11. YES! if they play with matches.

  12. no, fires cause forest fires.
