Do truffles and or Morel mushrooms grow in Alaska? More specificaly the anchorage area?

morels can... check your forest service dept. to see if there were any fires in your area last year.. then go for a walk on the one year old fire.. check the green areas... other than that check out poplar trees... no truffles though..
