I will agree Italiano is by far the coolest lanquage on the planet, but I must say to the person above me somewere... that french sounds stupid (im sorry it's true.)

I love listening to Italian, but I think the French accent is much cooler.

And in answer to your question; I'd imagine they do.  From the few Italians I've met confidence is not something they lack ;)  I mean that in the best possible way of course.
