  1. Perhaps. All of us are a little racist. We are born like that because there are not black people in our country so we are not used to get in touch with them.Sorry but that is the  truth.

mts9696► Brazil is a country  full of black people so they are not supposed to be racist as many of their players are black. It would be funny to be racist in Brazil , Colombia,Perú,etc.Understand that Argentina is different.

  2. I do.

I was appalled at the way he swatted away their hands when they tried to give him a pat on the back at half time.

Sure someone might have p*ssed him off earlier, but Messi acted like he thought he was a god and no one should have the right to touch him. I thought the Olympic games were supposed to be about sportsmanship and nations coming together as one. Obviously Messi missed that memo.

Personally i think the whole Argentinian football team is basically the evil version of Brazil. Sure they play great football, but the Brazilians have a way of making you really believe they are out there for the love of the game and enjoy playing no matter the outcome. Argentina on the other hand seem to be a bad tempered, selfish, result orientated version of the Brazil team. They have equal or possibly even better skill, but they're attitude needs some serious adjustments.

Btw I used to quite like watching Messi play, but that game really changed my opinion of him.

  3. I Hate Racists!

But I saw the game and saw the incedent you speak of and in NO way interpetated that as being racist and honestly can not see why you would think this!

Football players argue with the other team all the time and you will see stuff like that in almost every game..

Is Messi to act differently because the players happen to be black?

No..I think (a) That would be racist! & (b) If that was a team with 11 white men, yellow men or any other the action would be the same...

There is already too much Racism in the world without looking for it in places where it does'nt exist..

I think the Argentinian girl above deserves respect for saying what others would'nt about Argentina not having any black community and the effect of that towards Black people, I can relate to that to a certain extent. However Messi has lived in Catalunya for many years and has had many black team-mates and friends and I would doubt very much if the guy is in any way racist...

In response to the answer that calls Argentina an Evil version of the Brazil team is way out of line,"Evil" is far too strong a word to be calling them and could offend Argentine people...

Argentina do play with a little venom, more so when things go wrong but they have given us some of the greatest players & teams ever and are a joy to watch fro real Football fans everywhere..They are Olympic Gold winners for the 2nd time running and have probably been the best team in the world for a few years..a fact the will make official at the next World Cup !

    Viva Argentina !

  4. uhh noo....that's what soccer players do......why should messi be held accountable for something everyone else does...seriously watch south american soccer

  5. Do u agree that you should find something better to do with yourself?

  6. ^^^ i agree with the man ^^^

  7. i hope not .He was just nervous . However , i didnt that act from him .
