  1. first of all, i am very sorry your rabbit died, mine died unexpectedly a few years back so i understand what you are feeling.. when my mum put my dog sam to sleep 2 years ago, we liked to think that she was in doggy heaven, with lots of tennis balls and steaks, but mostly chicken because that was her favourite food.. i definitely believe in pet heaven.

  2. yea it is true, i had a dog that died in november 27th 2007 and i miss him so much so i bought a little dog teddy and named it after him it makes me feel so much better and i treat it like it's him and its like hes still alive

  3. With every ounce of my being I believe that animals go to Heaven. They are innocent a truly GOOD souls and that is what Heaven is for, the innocent and the good. Not to mention they say Heaven is perfect and nothing would be perfect without an animal.

Awhile back I read this poem, and I truly can not remeber the author or name but in the poem a little boys dog dies. And his father tries with all his heart to explain to his son what happened to his beloved friend and why dogs/animals do not live as long as we do. The little boy speaks up and says, " Dad I know why dogs and animals do not live as long as we do. They are better beings and they accomplish what God wants them to do in order to come home sooner. They learn faster how to be truly kind, love unconditionally and be good. That why they go home sooner. "

  4. I think its real i hope it is

  5. rainbow bridge? wtf is tht?

  6. I totally believe in a heaven for pets and I also believe that when i die i will get to see them again--even if it isn't true, I hold on to the hope because it makes me happy!

  7. dogs go to a wonderful place up above, and when we die we will be re-united with them. They will travel over with a pack of animal friends they made in their heaven and they too will re-unite with their owners. Since dogs have such a wonderful sense of smell they will help find the other people we lost.and we can then enjoy heaven.

  8. I sure do.

Don't worry, Sooty is very happy right now [[:

  9. Hello,

Of course we believe in rainbow bridge and heaven. My boyfriends dog died and i printed the rainbow bridge poem off the internet to make him feel better. My cat recentley passed away too.I've always believed in heaven and i'm sure your sooty is there with the rest of our beloved animals. Its very hard when your pet dies because we do love them so much.I had my cat for 15years he died about a year ago and i still miss him. Some people may think we're crazy but i dont care.XX

  10. The rainbow bridge is a lovely idea, but I don't believe in it. Very few people do, people just like to pretend it's real because it puts their mind at rest about how their animal is.

  11. By the edge of a wood, at the foot of a hill,

Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.

Where the friends of man and woman do run,

When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,

Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.

On this golden land, they wait and they play,

Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,

For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.

Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,

Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,

Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.

All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,

Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

    For just at that instant, their eyes have met;

Together again, both person and pet.

So they run to each other, these friends from long past,

The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,

Has turned into joy once more in each heart.

They embrace with a love that will last forever,

And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

I had my much loved dog put to sleep last summer and the vet gave me this poem.

It would be nice if it were true.
