yes. When ppl drink, they lose there inhibitions and will say things they usually wouldn't. These things tending to be why they believe but won't say

Lol yup i do believe in this quote :] when ones drunk you often say whats on your mind without thinkin of the consequences. sober people are less likely to say whats on their mind as they fear of what follows it. drunk people also always tell the truth lol

There is a kernal of truth to that.  When some people are drunk, their inhibitions drop and they say things that a lot of us think all the time but are afraid to say out loud.
