Do u care about camera scratches?

i got a scratch on my canon sd1100 screen......its not deep at all and u hav to go into direct bright light and look carefully to see it....but it is hard to see if u dont face the screen into direct light....is this common, and should i worry?....(i hope it's common =/....)

Why do you keep asking questions about scratches on your camera?    People have  told you to get a case to keep it in so it doesn't get worse.  It is not common to have scratches if you take care of it properly.  I have had a camera for over two years and there are no scratches on it.   Please get a case!

    You asked about scratched flash the other day, and today it's the LCD? Get a proper case to protect it and use the wrist strap so it's not drop(ped)

    My old Nikon FM2 ( this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikon_FM2 ) has scratches all over it (it's well used after all), but it works perfectly well. On the other hand, I always have a UV (clear) filter to protect the lens. They're not cheap and I don't want the front element exposed.

    The scratch on the LCD makes no difference with the photos you take. Now if it's cracked, you might not be able to view the photos (or composed if that is what you use it for).
