Sometimes, depends on the mood I'm in.

I do, however volunteer at my Synagogue to feed the homeless.

I care about the homeless , I talk to quite a few on my way into work asking them how they feel health wise joke with them sometimes to try and give them a boost I do give some money to some ,when I can but I also let them know where to go eat at the kitchens let them know when shelters will be opening up more beds on colder nights,try and encourage some to seek treatment for there addictions.

Let some know when I see listing for affordable housing.

I at times set people up with counsellors that ask for it.

I don't normally walk around with money on me, as I would use my card when I want to buy something...but if I happen to have a few coins I would give that to a homeless person:-)

Yes, sometimes.

In NYC Subway, I give pennies or gold US $1 Coin to homeless.

In fact, NYC Transit has special unit called Homeless Outreach Unit.

No, but there is a mission in my neighborhood that gives out clothes,soap, toothpaste, and other things. I donate items to the mission.

instead when you pass by drive back and give them some food.

often the homeless around here have a regular spot to stand and ask for money, off the freeway ramp mostly in los angeles.

Since I drive the off ramp often for work I know I can bring something (food, or an umbrella/blanket when cold or rainy) and hand that to them. Not money.

I care, I give money to the shelters, but NEVER to the homeless themselves. When I see a person on the side of a road with a sign that says, "Will work for money." I do not give them money. Once, I saw a guy whose sign said, "Will work for beer money." I gave him 3 bucks for being honest about it.
