  1. yeah you do

so ill get a comment and a bulletin posted about me...

    jealous?

  3. You can get a congratulatory letter from the Queen, only if you or someone on your behalf applies to buckingham palace in advance.

  4. Yeah you will.

  5. You used to get a telegram you now get a card on your 100th birthday (as long as you apply) you also get one on your 105th and on every subsequent birthday after that. So if you live to 110 you get 12 cards from the Queen.

  6. Yes, you do.  It used to be a telegram, and now it's a birthday card.

This is what the official website says:

"Cards are sent to those celebrating their 100th and 105th birthday and every year thereafter, and to those celebrating their diamond wedding (60th), 65th, 70th wedding anniversaries and every year thereafter."

They're administered by the Queen's Anniversaries Office.  The Pensions Service is supposed to inform the Anniversaries Office of birthdays so that a card comes automatically (assuming you're getting a state pension), but there are application forms that a friend/relative can send off to make sure.
