do u get pains in your kidneys when you have a urinary tract infection?

  1. usually if u have pains in your kidneys... as far as i know it means the UTI is going up into your kidneys...(happened to my daughter once)

  4. you can but you may also have infection called pyelonephritis which in an infection of both the bladder and the kidneys.   have you given a urine specimen to your doctor already and been diagnosed with a uti

    (uti--urinary tract infection) if so and your on antibiotics that may clear up the infection in your kidneys also but it it continues much past 24 hrs it sounds like you really need to see your dr again...me

  5. You can.... or it can be a kidney stone. Get to a MD to be checked out. They will need to do an xray.

  6. If you EVER get pain in your kidneys, you should see a doctor. It could be very serious, however it could be a UTI.

  8. yes, if it goes long enough without being treated. they usually call it a kidney infection
