Do u get stuff when u earn points for answering questions on yahoo??

Question

I just started with answering questions on yahoo and i only have 12 points and my friend was wandering if i can get stuff if i earn points. and how many points do u need to get to a new level?

When I reached level 2, I was asked do I want a reward.  

I received a big refrigerator magnet with the Yahoo Answers logo.  Saying: "I am making the world a smarter place."

You have 150 points, actually. And, no, not really.

Points simply promote participation. They allow you to ask, answer, vote even more! To be able to brag some. December of 2006, we did get stuff if we signed up, depending on our levels, like coffee mugs, sweaters, hats.  But most of the promotions are to EVERYONE in the US at Level 2 or above.
