  1. i doo knot

  2. I don't give the 'career beggars' any money. I know my city pretty well & can spot them. I tell them I already donate to a charity.

  3.    I like to walk into Mc Cluckets and buy them a meal.

  4. I never give money to winos and beggars. Seems that they have chosen the career of living of from other people's good will. I do tip people who sell newspapers, they make a pittance from the paper alone but they have the dignity not to beg or pan handle.

  5. i try to whenever im in town. usual is the big issue

i never read them in fact i always give it them back to sell on.

  6. In the name of JESUS & OB AMA...any beggar I see I give him a $100.00 Bill ...because I am   rich  baby ...plus I am an  an illuminati.. I am like ROBIN HOOD I steal from the working Class & I give it back to the  every alcoholic that i meet.  ...most  of the time the alcoholics that I help is a very rich person...Guess what? I did not saw or meet a sober rich person yet....all  rich people are Banach of alcoholics...expat me of course.

  7. i personally don't. i give money to cancer charities and children's charities as well some times other once but i will not give to beggars due to the fact that one of my neighbours brothers used to go begging all the time yet he was quite a bit of money own his own house but used to go up to the town in dirty scabby clothes with a dog in tow begging instead of getting a proper job

  8. nope. i dont give money to charities or anything. i just give money to that whirley thing in MAC donalds.

  9. It's a funny thing, the more people there are in genuine need out on the streets, the more annoying they can be. I rarely give because it's hard to distinguish genuine need from genuine need with a heroin habit.

  10. some I ignore a few I have given money to, sometimes something gets my attention and wont let go till I do it. whatever is telling me to do this or that, some call it God, some say its a spirit guide some call it woman's instinct. but I listen.

  11. I normally always give money...

    However...

The other day me and my mate were walking around town, we gave money to a begger...a couple hours past and it was gettin late, and we just so happened to see him..curious we followed him to see where he'd go...he jumped into a Corsa...wich we thort looked pretty dam good...and since then its put me off...

  12. I used to. I'd give money to those people holding signs, I had a man come up to me and ask me for money because there was a hole in his gas tank and he was here all the way from arkansas...and then he whipped out a drivers license to prove it. A week later my sister said 'some pan handler came up to us and said he needed money for his moms surgery ...then he pulled out this arkansas drivers license''

.....A couple months after that I was approached by the same guy (who clearly forgot me) ...this time He was getting a ride from a friend who insisted he pay some gas money but he didnt have any ...then he pulled out his drivers license to prove that he was from arkansas ...

Another time a woman came up to me begging for money because she didnt have enough gas to get home. I felt bad so I gave her 4 dollars (enough for a couple gallons, at the time) ....then I watched her hop in her car and drive past 3 gas stations all within 20 feet of each other..

......Ive stopped handing out money since then.

  13. wll most times people give money it helps people alot unless its a penny:P and it helps the donater feel good bout themself

  14. My friend gave a packet of crisps to a beggar the other day.

Seemed like a nice thing to do.

Until I pointed out he was wearing the Mancher United 07/08 football kit.

  15. Somtimes I give them a bottle of vodka. Cut out the middle-man.

  16. No but I do food drives and give away clothes and such.

  17. I say I am skint and do not stop. Hard hearted as it may sound, I am doing my own bit to get through uni and have a chance at a better life.

There is also the concern if one reaches into a pocket to retrieve money in some areas, that is an invitation to be robbed at knife point. Better to not signal where one's money is, and to protect self first than wind up with a knife in one's back or chest.

Now if someone were to say they were hungry rather than begging cash "for some reason" I would offer to take them to a nearby shop, etc and buy them something.

I once saw an honest bloke with a little sign that said, "Not hungry, won't work, need money for alcohol" If I were going to hand out cash, it would be to his sort first.

  18. No, I don't want to feed their addictions.

  19. I only give them money if I see no evidence of alcoholism.

  20. I'll give my money to whoever I choose and totally don't care if it makes you cross.

  21. NO full stop. They are not starving and most of them are on the dole anyway and just too lazy and bone idle to work.

  22. Yes, i do, or sometimes food.
