The concept of aliens and flying objects is nothing but a scientific assumption. As one of the answers said it's is practically impossible to travel the distance they have to cover in a life time(assuming their life time is 100 years as ours).

The concept is good for selling a block buster movie.

Yes, I believe there is a good chance that among the trillions and trillions of planets in the universe there are other intelligent life forms .   I do not believe they've made it to Earth . but who knows what levels of technology have been reached in the universe

I believe that there are other forms of life outside our planet but as to whether they're "little green men" or some type of monster/creature ... well, who's to say what exists in areas of the galaxy we can't venture just yet?

No. It is physically impossible to travel the distance they would  have to cover. The nearest star to Earth is 1.5 light years. That's 186,000 miles a second for one year. The nearest planetary system is probably thousands of light years away. Do the math!
