i believe that there are creatures that exist in forms that human beings are not yet aware of, it would be arrogant to assume that we are the only intelligent beings in this whole vast galaxy...but i definately do not believe in the whole alien/ufo/etc stuff, not the way the media portrays the whole thing.

The Hubble Space Telescope site estimates there is hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. Our galaxy alone has 200 billion stars in it. Now even if only 1 in 10 of these have planets that's still a h**l of a lot of them out there in The Milky Way let alone the rest of the universe...oo my brain hurts.

So I think its a little bit short sited to think that life only exists on this planet.

Do i think aliens have visited earth... NO.

i wouldnt really call them aliens...

more like other species that exist on another planet/galaxy.

yes, I think that we are not alone in the universe. It would be very rare that we were the only living (intelligent) species in the universe.

I wrote a book on this, which is in draft form right now. Since I am a skeptic, I don't believe in aliens.

Yes, I must admit that there are billions of stars out there, making it possible of intelligent life in the universe. However, the evidence is not convincing that we are being visited by extraterrestrials. It could be argued that we are living in an era where a space age myth began.

There is a desire and even a fear that aliens are here to serve man or wreak havoc. It is an old story of the sky gods descending onto earth and meddling with humans that resulted in hybrid beings. So, the myth continues so that it could fit into an updated time, a time of the rise of secularism.
