  1. No, you don't need to have a picture of them, but it really does help...You need to have either a mental image of the person, or you can use something that belongs to them, in order to properly target the spell.


  2. No, magic has to exist first.

  3. Not a good idea to try to cast a spell on another person, especially someone you do not know.  Spellwork should only be on yourself and only for your good or the good of others.  You could send out a healing spell to someone you knew, but you have to have their consent first.  Trying to cast a spell on someone without their okay invites having the spell rebound on you 3 fold.  If it was an ill-intended spell, that would be really bad, wouldn't you agree?  Don't do it!  For your own sake!

  4. You welcome all kinds of horrible things to happen to you when you start casting spells on others.
