Do u have to have a bt line with sky phone?

i am thinking of joining sky, do i need a bt line to join or do they rent the phone line?

Sky dont provide the line so you need to get that from elsewhere.

I am with sky and have gone with BT for the line and because I use my contract mobile phone I never use the home phone so I have put it on direct debit and also opted for online billing to bring down the cost.

I pay £10.50 and I believe thats the cheapest.

you do need a phone line to enjoy all of sky's interactive stuff  but it doesnt have to be bt if you want to join skytalk then

you need a bt line as you still pay BT line rental while your calls are charged to your sky account .call customer services from sky and they can sort it all out for you
