Do u have to have some type of education to become a tattoo artist?

I am not sure of formal education for being a tattoo artist, but you should be an excellent artist first.  That would require you to be very good at drawing and use of colors. On the job training in a tattoo studio (parlor) would be a place to learn how to do tattoos.
