I have all the signs of anxiety, but the worse is the constance buzzing in my head every few minutes. Everthing seems to happen when I'm just for example watching tv or even at the movies. But when I'm busy doing things I don't feel it. I would like to sit and relax for a while but that seems to be the only time it hits. Is buzzing in the head a symptom? It feels as though someone is getting an electic toothbrush or something and putting it to my head/\...

  1. Anxiety can hit anytime.  Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with little mini panic attacks.  I'm not sure about the buzzing in the head, but everyone reacts differently.  Sometimes I feel like my brain gets fuzzy, like my ears are clogged and my eyes go kind of blurry and my chest is so tight I have to force myself to take breaths.

When you are relaxing, your brain can wander off and think about things you don't have time to think about when you are working or busy doing something else.  That's when your mind remembers all the little things that are stressing you out, such as finances, relationships, etc.

When anxiety hits, experiment and see what helps the most for you.  I find talking about the anxiety and my stressors really helps.  You might try taking deep breaths, closing your eyes, thinking about whatever makes you happy, or picturing yourself in your favorite relaxing place.
