  1. No, factory wax is usually better and lasts longer than if you wax it.

  2. no

  3. No it's usually waxed already for you unless you bought a really cheap S****y one that's either used, or plain out cheap.

  4. You don't necessarily have to wax it, but i would suggest it.  MOST companies have a really bad factory wax, but my suggestion is to wax your board and leave the wax sit. Wait as long as you can before you scrape the wax this will leave you with a longer lasting waxed base.

  5. No, it should be waxed already but personally i would do it anyways just because the wax might not be as smooth as it could be but i dont know how avid of a rider you are.

  6. I would advise people to ALWAYS wax a new board because factory wax is poor in quality.  If you want your new board to perform at it's highest level, then you need to get some wax that is correct for whatever conditions you will be in and treat your new board with some respect.

  7. No you dont have to. All new snowboards come with factory wax. But the thing is its not the greatest. I will aventually ware off. if you dont want the factory wax, you can just do your own wax job to it.

  8. Yes.  Although the board most likely came with a factory wax, it's meant more for keeping the base from drying out in the shop than actual use.  So just wax it.  There really is no harm waxing a board often.
