Do u honestly think the usa can get out of the first round in the olympics

they struggled against japan which was suppose 2 be there easiest opponent and now they have 2 face netherlands and nigeria which are favorites

so far, so good. there are always a couple of teams that surprise everyone, usa could be one of them so i dont see why they cant make it out of the 1st round.

sure.they have some excellent talent in their squad.although they could have made things easier on themselves by bringing donovan and bocanegra instead of parkhurst and mcbride.

either way they still have freddy adu,jozy altidore,michael bradley,stuart holden,mo edu,michael orozco and brad guzan.

all these players have excellent talent and its up to them to be composed and decisive in their upcoming games.

i don't think they will go very far in the tournament

in the coming two matches i wouldn't hope them to win

but anything may happen in soccer.

much of their fate will depend on the rest of the group members and how they play.

as all of them are very decent teams usa will have a hard time; so their progressing is very unlikely but not impossible.
