  1. Lots of very successful people get some bad marks in high school, but when they grow up they apply themselves to study hard and do just fine. All is not lost if you have low marks, but there's no time like the present to begin working hard.

  2. Medical schools don't look at your high school life, grades, or scores. They don't care! They only care how you do in undergraduate college and what you do. Calculus of some kind (such as calculus for life science majors) is required to get into most medical schools. AP credit isn't usually a problem for math, but they don't like science AP.

  3. I'm a doctor. I did badly in hs french.  I just was no good at it whatsoever.  It seemed like the end of the world at the time, and I seriously considered suicide.  Fortunately this was before the Internet taught us all how to do stupid things in a competent fashion, and therefore my method was to haunt the local subway station waiting for some child to slip and fall, whereby I planned to dramatically throw myself between said kid and death, saving his/her life while dying heroically.  For anyone who might be wondering, this is not an efficient method of killing yourself, and it is really surprising how few subway accidents there are when you really need one. After a couple of weeks I gave it up and went on with my life.  I have to say that adolescence is a truly cr&ppy time of life, but that things do get better.

About half the med schools have dropped the calculus requirement, although the more demanding med schools still want it.  I'd check the requirements for the schools you are interested in.  Remember to look at the osteopathic (DO) programs as well as the allopathic (MD) programs; DO's are now accepted into all residency programs on equal terms with MD's, and are considered interchangeable with MDs. However, the DO track usually does NOT require calculus.
