no, i do not now of any cases as such, but? if you asked for your citizenship of Taiwan while being born in the US, it could happen on a return to your country,

i know of a particular case, where a friend's son was born in another country than France, and while military service was still in course, did not show up for his duties, he was refused french citizenship, for he failed to show up at serving his country, kind of same situation,
