maybe you can try Tupai tupai nearby the Dewan bahasa and pustaka building.the ambience is nice and the price is ok for middle budget also they offer where u can eat "bersila"..and for more nice place u can try menara KL with higher budget than tupai tupai..good luck!

CafeCafe is really good for an intimate setting. Prices are higher middle-range.

Avanti Restaurant at Sunway Hotel & Resort is really nice. They have singing waiters (except Tues) who can serenade you two, if you want. Prices are quite high, though. Prego at Westin KL is in the same price range.

Senses at Hilton Sentral is really, really, really good. Service, food, ambiance & impress-factor are totally hot, but be prepared to pay RM500-ish for a dinner-for-two (more if you're having alcohol).

I know some people might say Villa Danielli at Sheraton Imperial KL is good, but don't waste your time. The food portions are kedekut, not that tasty and EXPENSIVE!!
