Tricks?

Well,mint and spearmint planted around the home ,will repel ants,of all kinds.Mothballs around or under the home will repel snakes,and other reptiles.

Oil applied in trenches around the home will NOT repel termites,it will only ruin the soil,in a way that you wont be able to treat it with a good repelant.

A clean home will do most of the work,you can spray forever ,but if you dont keep you home clean, roaches will always come back,In a lot of cases they even build up a immunity to the chemicals. Make sure there are not tree limbs plants touching the perimeter of your home,or roof. This provides excellent "highways"for bugs and rodents.

I looked at your question again are you talking about the pest control license test, that depends on the state you live in .In LA. there or 5 different tests ,each with a differrent diffulty level, the test are given out at random, So you dont know how hard its going to be,or easy.

Best thing to do is study for it.

Most employers will provide training for there aprentices for this test.

I remember alot of questions about the chemicals used mostly,so study that alot.
