  1. no and i still dont know jack!

  2. I know bat, ball, sixer, four but not "out" or other

  3. i  watched  my   first  match  between  india  and   australia.....

  4. Yes, my father taught me well. I knew all then, that I know now(which isn't that much, lol) so I was able to enjoy it from the start.

  5. my first game was the natwest final 2002 and i was 11.....every1 was watching it closely....i just watched it when kaif and yuvi had made a promising start altho i didnt know much abt the game, overs, run rate....i just knew they had to hit fours and sixes to win....i wondered y's every1 so serious....lol we've still got 5 wickets left! then my dad explained that next batsmen were all bowlers and that 323 is a lot of runs....now thats like so far away cuz now i'm crazy abt it

  6. first I played cricket before watching so I aware of the rules.

  7. When I first watched it, I was just curious & didn't knew what are "overs" & run rates, economy etc. I started following it after hearing a lot of discussion around & then I came to know about its little facts like in what cases an LBW is given & the test/ ODI difference gradually by growing more interest into the game.

  8. I know that Australia are the best at cricket!

Would have been a baby the 1st time i watched cricket.

  9. I don't exactly remember when I watched my first cricket match, but I remember watching ODI cricket regularly right from 1996. So, maybe, I had watched my 1st cricket match some time around 1995. I was quite young then, and didn't understand much. All I knew was that the objective of the game was to score as much runs as possible, and then prevent the opposition from reaching that total by taking wickets.

I knew nothing about the different types of ways in which a batsman can be out, the numerous shots that a batsman can play, the name of all the fielding positions, and the different types of bowlers etc. It was my father who used to explain the rules of cricket to me, and I learnt a lot by hearing the TV commentary as well. As I grew older, my understanding of the game increased, and I began to appreciate test cricket as well. Infact, I began to prefer tests over ODIs.

  10. I wasn't very old when I saw my first game so really the only thing I knew was that you had to hit the ball with the bat and run.

I got a better understanding of it as I got older.

  11. I first started playing cricket rather than watching it in television..So,I know something about cricket when I started watching it..

To be precise;the first match I saw is the match between India and pakistan at Chennai(in T.V)..Thats one of the most memorable match in ODI history..Anwar knocked 194,Dada took the spectacular catch to get rid of Anwar,Dravid scored his first century in international arena..

I'm seven years old at that time..

  12. I don't think I was even at school, so obviously I had no idea what was going on. I knew that there was a man bowling to another, and every so often another man would hand him a cap, and he would go and stand in the field for a bit whilst another man had a go.

I don't think anyone knows anything when they first see or do something.

  13. Little about teams & some players

  14. Yes I had learned all the finer points before I ever saw it.

  15. no

  16. i think i knew only somethings...not too much about cricket when it was my first time...

    lolls..

$$** LIVE LIFE KING SIZE **$$

  17. I was 8 years old and i was watching India vs West Indies

  18. The only thing I knew when I saw cricket for the first time was "Hit the ball and run".......... I was curious what things like Run rate, trail by , Batting average were.........I was very young at that time.......and guess what ? Rahul Dravid got the Man of the match........But the match that really got me interested in cricket was the Natwest series final - 2002...

    such an awesome game!

oh...yeah... I absolutely didn't have any idea on the ways a batsman can be declared out.......

  19. yes ! not every thing but i know the basics

  20. The first cricket match i went to, i was 14. I had started watching cricket from an early age, so unlike most others, i did understand what was going on.

The match was between England & West Indies, England won by 7 wickets and Graham Thorpe hit a 100.

I remember the atmosphere was electric, the England fans were chanting and partying all day, and the West Indies fans were vocal too. I loved cricket before i went to see my 1st match live, but after seeing a live match i was head over heels in love.

Since then ive watched 3 other England matches, and a few county matches involving Yorkshire & Gloucesteshire

  21. watch it

  22. No.I was one of these 'dumb' Aussie supporters,i knew the rules about runs and catches, but as far as LBW's were concerned i thought that meant something about bowling a wicket..

Thank god for the rule books..

  23. I had such an interest in the game when i was small. Although i didn't know all the rules i just understood was to make a higher total score than your opponents. I had no idea of how Test cricket worked! Gradually, i began to ask questions to my father of all the things i didn't understand and he told me. Slowly i got the knowledge of how cricket worked - Tests and ODIs! It was a great when i saw all my family gather around the TV box and watch India vs Pakistan! It was awesome!

  24. i wuld of watched cricket b4 i culd talk in my family. As far as i can remember i knew evry rule and what evrything meant.
