Swimming pools. I have this thing for being able to actually see what's under the water. Also I don't like the thought of stepping a murky, muddy lake bottom with who knows what underfoot. *shudders*

definately lake, hands down. its just so natural and the water is so cool, there is so much water arround you so you can swim so much more freely. once you swim in lake you will love it.

lakes. though they are a bit scary sometimes. not seeing the bottom causes me discomfort, but thats part of the challenge/fun. it is also very refreshing to swim in a lake, unlike pools. chlorine isn't good either, and lakes (obviously) don't have chlorine in them.

I know that I may seem stuck-up, but I enjoy pools more because I don't like the feeling of the sand stuck on me from the wetness- and it cannot be avoided because when I walk up the beach to the parking lot, my feet get sandy.  I should wear flip flops into the water... Lol!  Also the thought of stepping on things that hurt.  No!
