I like it, but it IS a bit of a mouthful. What about trying Maddison for a first name? Maddison allyn? That way if need be you can call her Maddy for short. Maddy Allyn, now THAT has a nice ring to it.

Sorry, but I don't like Addison.

It's too trendy/cutesy.  It's also the name of a disease.  Would you call your child tuberculosus?  Didn't think so.

It also means 'son of adam'.  Son.  As in male child.  Is that appropriate for a girl?  I'll leave you to ponder that.

Paired with Allyn (which would likely be mistaken for Allan, another male name) it's an androgenous, hideous, nightmare of a name.

i like the first name. it can be shortened to addie if you/she wants. but the middle namedoesn'tn;t go well with it. try something like..Addison Rose, Addison Clare, etc etc. Maybe it's because they both start with an "A".

Is this for a boy or a girl?  If it's for a boy, it's too girly.  If it's for a girl, well, Allyn or Allen is NOT a girl's name.
